
WindNinja is a computer program that computes spatially varying wind fields for wildland fire and other applications requiring high resolution wind prediction in complex terrain.
WindNinja was developed by the USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station by their Fire, Fuel, Smoke Science Program at the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory. It is under constant development.

Install from Q:\Public\WndNinja2 or download the WindNinja installer from Firelab.org
1. Run "Q:\Public\WndNinja2\WindNinja-2.5.4-win64-install.exe"
2. Welcome to WindNinja-2.5.4 setup, click Next>
3. Accept the License Agreement, cick on I Agree
4. Install Options, use defaults selected, click Next>
5. Installation Location, use default location, click Next>
6. Choose a Start Menu folder or use the default, click Next>
7. Choose Components, select all Application components, click Install
8. When setup has completed click Finish
