
RStudio is an integrated development environment (IDE) for R. It includes a console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, as well as tools for plotting, history, debugging and workspace management.
RStudio is available in open source and commercial editions and runs on the Windows, Mac, and Linux.

1. Go to the RStudio download page to download the latest version. Or run "Q:\Public\R Studio v1\RStudio-1.3.1073.exe".
2. Welcome to the RStudio Setup window. Click Next.
3. Unless otherwise specified, accept the default Destination Folder. Click Next.
4. Choose the Start Menu folder. For student lab comptuers, change the entry to Statistics\RStudio. Click Install.
5. Wait for the installation to complete.
6. When installation is complete, click Finish. Verify the installation by launching the program.
