Download the latest version from Notepad ++
OR install from Q:\Public\Notepad ++ 7.x
1. Run Q:\Public\Notepad ++ 7.x\npp.7.exe
2. Select a Language (default is English), click on OK
3. Select Next in Welcome to Notepad++
4. Accept the License Agreement, click on I Agree
5. Choose Install Location. C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++ is the default, click on OK
6. Choose Components, Custom install allows for selecting optional components. Make changes or leave defaults. If space is an issue, select Minimal. Click on Next
7. Additional components can be selected. Click on Install
8. Click on Finish when the Completing the Notepad++ setup window appears.
9. If prompted install selected plugin updates
10. If prompted select Yes to update the plugin manager
11. After updates are installed you may be prompted to restart, select Yes to restart now.
