ATHENA Impact Estimator for Buildings is a software tool designed to evaluate whole buildings and assemblies based on internationally recognized life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology. Assess and compare the environmental implications of industrial, institutional, commercial and residential designs — both for new buildings and major renovations.
Users must have a registered account (free) with Athena and login in order to download updates.
Athena Impact Estimator is installed on the student lab computers for use in classes.

Contact the Forestry Helpdesk if you would like assistance. It's best if the person using Athena is also the person who installs it. The program hardcodes the first users home directory path in 5 keys in the HKLM registry section.
